Well I was looking on some other local sites in other towns and saw that they had an events list on the front page. I think that's a very good idea for getting information out to people on this site maybe just little box with the events and their dates with a link to the actual thread?  dont know Also what happened to the site suggestions thread? this site is now perfect or what?

There has always been a calendar listed on the bottom of the "forum" page in which events can be posted, though I never tried it.  It looks like Gabe is working on an events calendar, but I do think having a list of events on the main page might be a good idea since this site has such a high amount of traffic, you'd be less likely to miss a thread that way.  btw Kevin, look at the bump rules.  Tongue
