No it is not an original forum software, but like every other forum when you try to make it your own and add certain elements, layouts, features and packages everything must be scripted and coded in. Sometimes it's very easy other times it's time consuming and a pain in the ass.

You can have Vbulletin, PHPBB, MyBB, SMF, Vanilla, etc... and you still have to modify it's content to give it that unique and original feel.
