If Barbee wanted to take off its all good let him. We know what we can be with loyalty, dedication, and love for the game I rather die a HERO and still be successful. 1 million dollars is not going to last if you don't do any good for the school and just be replaced and not get known after a couple of years.

Barbee did alot to help bring UTEP back up in C-USA basketball and should be appreciated for it.  Auburn is another great oppurtuinty for him and his family and obviously he likes a challenge and will need to work even harder to bring them from the ground up.  UTEP will always be a stepping stone till we can afford to pay the $$$ to keep a good Coach unless we find someone who loves the community like ALford does at UNM and Albuquerque.   Wink
